Wooden Combs

With everyone in quarantine growing their beards and hair out, a natural wooden comb is the perfect way to keep it all under control. Wooden combs also offer a variety of advantages over traditional plastic combs – they are anti-static, spread the natural oils from your hair, and are generally more gentle on your scalp and face. After making a few for myself, a wooden comb is definitely my new go-to.

For this batch of wooden combs I used a variety of different domestic and exotic woods to see which styles and designs worked best. Below are wenge and bocote; walnut and sassafrass; bleached wenge; cherry and maple; mahogany and sassafrass; and panga panga.
