Minimal Serving Tray

A minimal serving tray made with wenge and two bookmatched pieces of an extremely curly exotic veneer (I’m honestly not sure what it is, but I liked how they looked together haha). The wenge frame features a continuous grain pattern around all four corners. It was starting to become a pain making multiple trips up a flight of steps plus a spiral staircase any time we wanted to eat or drink up on our rooftop deck, so I made this minimal serving tray. I didn’t want to add handles or anything else that would distract from the woods, and to keep it nice, simple, and clean.
